Go Preach the Gospel and When Necessary, Use Words.

Looking for love, peace of mind, purpose, goodness and truth? Then Jesus Christ is the answer to your quest. In him you will find rest for your soul and hope for your future. In John 14:6 Jesus states "I am the way, the truth and the life..." and in John 10:10 he declares "I am come that they might have life and that they might have it more abundantly."

Come Just As You Are - Are you thinking that you are not good enough to come to God? Nobody is! We all fall short! The apostle Paul states in Romans 3:23 "for all have sinned and come short of the glory of God." And that means everyone! Or perhaps you feel Jesus will reject you? Not so! He says in John 6:37 that "all that come to me, I will not cast out..." Jesus came to seek and save that which was lost. The fact is, that no one will ever be good enough or do enough good works to be accepted by God. Ephesians 2:8-10 tells us "For by grace you are saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: not of works, lest any man should boast. For we are his workmanship..." Just humble yourself, come as you are and let the Lord go to work on you!

A Make Over - Yes, you will be a new creation in Christ! 2 Cor 5:17 states "Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is new creature: old things are passed away: behold, all things are become new." We come with some stinking thinking, but Romans 12:2 says we will be "transformed by the renewing of our minds." The Spirit of God will teach us, convict us and empower us to live a righteous life in Jesus. 2 Cor 5:21 states "For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin: that we might be made the righteousness of God in him." Romans 8:29 says God's purpose is that we "be conformed to the image of his Son." When God is done, we will be looking mighty fine!

So How to I Find Jesus?

Romans 1:16-17 (NLT) 16 For I am not ashamed of this Good News about Christ. It is the power of God at work, saving everyone who believes—the Jew first and also the Gentile. 17 This Good News tells us how God makes us right in his sight. This is accomplished from start to finish by faith. As the Scriptures say, “It is through faith that a righteous person has life.”

Romans 3:23 (NLT) 23 For everyone has sinned; we all fall short of God’s glorious standard.

Romans 5:8 (NLT) 8 But God showed his great love for us by sending Christ to die for us while we were still sinners.

Romans 10:9-10 (NLT) 9 If you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. 10 For it is by believing in your heart that you are made right with God, and it is by confessing with your mouth that you are saved.

Romans 10:13 (NLT) 13 For “Everyone who calls on the name of the LORD will be saved.”[a]

John 1:12 (NLT) 12 But to all who believed him and accepted him, he gave the right to become children of God.

Ephesians 2:8-9 (NLT) 8 God saved you by his grace when you believed. And you can’t take credit for this; it is a gift from God. 9 Salvation is not a reward for the good things we have done, so none of us can boast about it.
